SamCoin Pillar of the Community United States 3237 Posts	Posted 04/06/2020 2:26 pm I've checked this coin before, but it was a long time ago when I first got into the hobby, and it ended up in my junk copper bag. I've been going over the junk copper for rotation errors, clashes, and oher things I didn't check for the first time, and, randomly, I decided to pull out the loupe and check this coin again since it was a 1972 in pretty good shape. Maybe I'm just seeing things, or perhaps it's just the dreaded MDDO, but this really looks like it has doubling similar to either DDO-009 or DDO-010 on variety vista. Remember that DDO-009 and DDO-010 is only referring to the strong doubling above the tail of the 2 (Read the description). Those two doubled dies have both the MDDO and a true doubled die.
