Hey there everyone! I have a few 1982 Quarters one mint mark with P and the others with D. I thought maybe there was some double die on them and possible errors. Can anyone help? I'm still really new at all this. Pics are below. Thank you all!

Sorry the last two photos are rather small, here are better pics of them. These are the 1982 D quarter.

Where are you seeing the doubling? What other errors do you see?

I see doubling in "In god we trust" and I was asking if their were other errors seen. No need to be rude. I did SAY I'm brand new at this coin collecting stuff!

What being rude? lcutler ask a legit question since you never told us where you are seeing issues. Help us help you. Please post close ups of the areas in question and tell us what you are seeing.

The devices you are looking at on your coin are flattened from perhaps a vending machine. Not the other ones on the right a normal. Flattening happens when the coins (quarters are the most often used in a machine) are used a lot in the machines. Especially Casino coin usage was popular in the coins day. Now casinos use cards.

How is asking you to clarify what you mean by "possible errors" rude, littles83? If you post close ups of the areas in question and explain in words what you think you're seeing so we can evaluate whether it's there or not, you'll get more and better answers.

@l83, sorry but I'm not seeing any doubling on IGWT either, but a pic of just that region of interest would help. Here is the best I can do with the supplied pics:

I was not trying to be rude at all, just asking for information to try and help. It is very difficult to help not knowing exactly what you are seeing.

Ok yes that new pic is awesome--well done! Thx.

For sure the letters are thicker, but I'm thinking that this is a result of circulation flattening rather than a doubled die.
