I was interested in your opinion, apparently I found this 1967 which looks like an error coin, can I get some help pointing me to the right direction?

There were no proofs that year. 1965-67 had SMS (Special-Mint-Sets) ALso no coins with mintmarks during that time. There was a game of catch up happening during the time. The silver was being pulled from circulation and they were ramping up production to catch up with the silver coins being pulled. SMS and proofs (They are struck at least twice on all coins and the dies are limited to 3K coins) were not grades for business strike coins. Proof coins were struck at least twice. (Some larger coins more) So if a proof coin is damaged, it is always a proof coin. Just referred to as an impaired proof coin.

Not Die Deterioration Doubling, but faint Machine Doubling, and certainly not a proof.
