Can somebody with better overall knowledge please help me confirm or debunk this as a 1968 s proof DDO? It seems to me to have all the same qualities. I tried getting the finish pictured correctly as it's a very shiny proof like strike in my opinion. Also has slight doubling on the date, mm, and if I'm not mistaken Liberty, has a very nice reverse.
Has the RedBeard brought good luck upon me once aggain?

to the CCF!

It looks like a regular strike, not mirror finished like a proof.

First it is not a proof. Second I don't see any doubling.

The 1968-1972 cents have a lot of Machine Doubling. Conder101 mentioned the correct answer.
