first of all, I've bought from both sellers and so this not a knock against either.

both tokens appear to be extremely close in grade.

one is a city bank ribbon, and the other a montreal bank ribbon.

if anything, my experience tells me that the city bank token is easier to find in mint state.

in my opinion, the one with the dark background (montreal) appears to have better eye appeal, possibly due to the photos (note that the city bank token shown in high contrast/gamma is hiding some verdigris)

yet the "lesser" of the 2 (city bank) is currently going for a decent amount higher than the montreal offering?

is this due to one being an "auction" and the other a "buy it now"?

is this due to the seller's reputation? (s.hayen seems to get an decent premium over others on a regular basis)

I find it interesting to witness the disparity between certain sellers / venues, as if the coin itself didn't matter.

I think the buyer will be disappointed on the City Bank - paid UNC money for an AU token. IMHO

The Montreal Bank piece is priced as an AU (AU55 is $225 CAD in Charlton) token - correctly IMHO.

They're both beautiful! I feel like the details in the second one (darker) might be a wee bit more sharp but it hardly matters. I have one of each of those myself and neither is as nice as those two. Well done!
