Can anybody help me out with the rarity and value of this Jefferson nickel? I looked online for similar errors but could only find examples with one side having a capped die error.
I believe it is just damaged. Known as a " Dryer Coin" comes from being stuck in a commercial clothes dryer or some other piece of machinery. That is the most advanced case I have ever seen though!
