Hi Everyone.. This is another find out of change that I had gotten today. Does this seem to be a clipped planchet?

Looks pretty real to me @zanner. I can see a little bit of the Blakesley Effect.

I know I am new at coin collecting and I am trying to learn of what errors could be on coins. But I really had to run to google to find out what a Blakesley Effect was. Thank you. I needed to know that also, John 1.

Also note the weakness on the devices on the curved clip area. All sign are telling us, "I the real deal!" So now you know what to look for.
1. Clip area.
2. Blakesley affect 180 degrees across from the affected areas.
3. Weakness on the devices on that area.

John 1 - I did go to ebay this morning. Seems like a sister coin or (a close cousin) was sold this morning @ 5:54 am eastern time. I guess I was a little to late to get a relative of my coin. Ha ha,

Thank you Coop for the very informative information you give usually along with illustrations. . You help so many of us newbies.

Respect to all that have replied.
