Stunning coin IMHO. It's in an old PCGS holder. Don't have it in hand yet these are auction photos.

No wear on the high points of the design, nice overall luster.

Obv.:- minor luster abrasion on the cheek, and a couple of light dings and scuffs elsewhere, light scratch above and behind the ear.
Rev.:- light field scuffs under the wings, (?an attempt to remove dust, sometime in the past?), flare prevents proper examination of the breast feathers.

MS-62, nice eye appeal.

Fantastic luster! A bit baggy on the cheek, which may hold it to 63+.

Agreed with Sel_'s diagnostic, but I'm going with a solid MS63, possibly pull a + with that luster. Nice first year!

I wouldn't be surprised to see this in a 64 holder. Very attractive.

MS-63 would be my best guess. That face is pretty banged up.

MS63 not ugly enough for 62 imo

PCGS gave this one a 63. I think luster held it back from 64, it's blazing white but just a touch muted compared to some of my higher graded coins.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm a little surprised by a MS-63 here.

I count 16 scars on Liberty's cheek, including 7 deep scars. There are additional heavy hits in the hair above the ear, the nose, and the cap. On the reverse, the parallel scratches below the eagle's left wing (our visual right) cover the arrow tips, meaning that they are not die polishing lines. I suspect they are evidence of wiping, to remove whatever preceded the milk spots remaining in that area. It's a nice coin visually, but I would see the technical grade here as MS-61, assuming the reverse scratches didn't detail it. Whatever you do, don't crack it out of that holder. I don't see the coin regrading at 63.

JMHO.

I think the lines on the reverse are all die polishing - probably coincidental that a hit on one of the arrows lines up. Definitely doesn't have the look of a cleaned coin luster is pretty much unbroken.
