Good Evening! I was reaching out to the community to see if any of you may be able to give me some professional insight? I have a 1966-P Lincoln Memorial cent that I'm trying to determine if it has actual doubling or Machine Doubling? I think I'm seeing some on "LIBERTY' and "GOD" "WE" and the "TR" of trust. Also on pretty much of most of the letters on the Obverse. Hope these pictures are sufficient?

It's a lot easier to analyze if you have just one photo of each side of the full coin plus one or two closeups of the areas in question.

Agree with John1. If you desire die variety enlightentment I strongly recommend "The Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents 2nd edition" wexler/flynn.
This book is dangerously definitive- you may learn the FS system of listing varieties is comical oops I mean controversial (think double thumbs vs say 1985 ddo-001, 1986 ddo-001 and ad finitum others) easy now fellow forum friends this is only IMO.
Try and find a slabbed or raw 1966 ddo-001 at auction or on ebay not only are they a very wise buy (its rare cheap underrated and strong) but you will see the absolute pick up points on this variety that are non iffy.
Keep looking, occasionally on ebay raw examples in AU show up for 50-100 bucks but be cautious for every 100 listed raw 1966 ddo-001 maybe 3 will actually be one. A great variety well worth searching for, good luck on your die hunting.

Thanks for the first image with the inverted colors. It helps remove unwanted glare and shows if Machine Doubling is present. I use it a lot for just that purpose.
