Almost looks like the coin was placed at angle and someone put a few drops of acid on that area and the acid drained away on the ends lowering the rims and drained through and affected the reverse also on the rim areas? I did think it abnormal for the lam to be non-linear but I didn't think of the acid PMD chance. It is very circulated so I think this adds to the unusual look.
