This 59 has either a large bie break or it's a lamination error. It's from rim to rim. It goes thru tr in trust all the way down his bust and out the bottom rim.

Note the rim is flattened? I feel it is coin damage that moved across the coin. (Because the wave of metal from the rim towards the bust)

How about taking it out of the air-tite and get more photos to us (area ending by D of GOD to your TRUST location) IMO, you might have a "struck through" error in that "triangle" location. Also area on his cheek......

Edited: yes guys, it's a circulated coin which might have PMD. But look closer and lamination or ST error might be present.

Thx guys for your input I wasn't sure what is was exactly but I thought it might be a lamination or a huge die break. I appreciate your time to take a look.

A lamination would look like this:
1959-D-LMC-Die-Break-Or-Lamination-Error.
Just damage to the coin. Note the lines that are going in the wrong direction? Not a lamination issue on this coin, just damage.

Wow, 3rd time in over 4 years I must disagree with coop.
Coop zoom in on the latest photos around the TRUST area and then tell us that "that is just damage"

I'm sorry I can't get better pics but I think I agree it's a lamination error. But regardless of what I think I want to thank all you guys for your opinions and your input it's much appreciated.

The peeling on the bust clearly shows that this a lamination error. I also have to disagree with coop on this one.

There is peeling all the way down. It's just hard to see thanks to this wonderful phone.
