I Thought There Were No Mintmarks On Quarters 65 Thru 67?

Ok this my best description there appears to be a D mimtark and it appears that it might be D over an S or vice versa I'm there is an S and or
If its S over a D or a D over an S and or a D if theres even an S in this equationan but theres is a D when theres not supposed to be one on those yrs 65,66,or a 67. I am curious as to what your input on thus topic but I am anxious for some of your knowledge... thankyou

There Are No Mintmarks On Quarters 65 Thru 67. I'm seeing a gouge under George's pony tail - damage, not a mint mark.

This coin suffers from post mint damage.

It has been around the block a few times in its 53 years of circulation.
