My daughter and I went thru a D Weir Farm Loomis box today and scored 10 American Samoa "W" Bat quarters.

The unopened roll has a Bat quarter on one end and a Weir Farm on the other end. 99.9%+++ chance the Bat quarter is a "W"!

I got to keep 5 of the finds; my daughter got the other five. I'm ok with that!

Very nice westernsky! Any of them look good enough to be graded?

I don't think any of the "W's" would grade any better than "65". On the D mint coins I did keep a few of the nicer Weir Farm coins that I thought might make 66/67.

Was just glad to be able to score a few "W" coins at "face" value

I was lucky, all mine (so far) came back 67. I don't keep the D's but you notice how different they look? I would describe the D's surface (luster) almost as a gloss finish compared to the P's and W's as almost a satin finish.

Yes, it's nice to find the W's at face value.

Nice find! Haven't had any luck finding any yet. Just a bunch of D' s, which I don't keep either.
