Well I finally found some.I was going through some pennys, thought I would find a 1982-ddo.I searched through at least 5-600 coins and just placed the 1982's and 1983's in a pile and kept searching.I was so sure I would find an 82ddo, I could almost taste it.Well after a pile of about 100+coins to check, I found no 1982-ddo darn!! I was very happy to see not only 1 1983-ddr but 3.I am a happy camper and while I will go through plenty more coins looking for the elusive 82ddo, I at least found some other error's and some very interesting coins also, a 2000-LMC with in god we tr, gone and LI in liberty gone, and the date 2000 very barely there.I know from the looks of the coin the strike was very poor, yet it seems odd because LINCOLN is standing proud. Also the reverse is a strong strike? Well I am over all happy and when I can see again I will continue the hunt.THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE, BE

Finding three of those in one batch is completely unbelievable. I've been looking since 1983 and have never found one, and have been through over a million coins to find just that - none. I would have to see them, I smell misidentification.

Dear coppercoins, I will post the pictures and "we will see".While we are discussing this error could you help me "diagnose" another error.I posted this message about trying to find the elusive 1982-ddo, and ZIGGY9 informed me to check the reverses of the already checked 1982's for a "more elusive 82 DDR" well I am not sure( no reference pictures to go by) but if you being the more knowledgeable onecould assist me I would appreciate this because I was checking through what seemed to be hundreds of coins( I already checked for the DDO)and if what I found is "the real DDR you wont believe what I found.I probably found something like what you called " I would have to see them, I smell misidentification."I am not a new collector, although I have other coins I have spent toooo much time on. I am just out of touch, BE WELL MORGANS

Here are two photos of one of my 1983 DDR. Am I wrong or is this what I think it is? Please click on photo to enlarge. This is two separate photos of the same coin.
