I enjoy seeing how people process grading coins as it helps sharpen my skills. So please let me know what you think?

AU50. The feathers are worn some, the hair too and it looks to have lost it's lustre.

I grade it, "WAAAAAAY out of my price range," and that's very accurate.

you will normally find the 89(CC) strikes to be sharp and bold. this one is below average for strike. the ear area and eagle breast are not fully struck. the majority of luster has been removed. it may have had a dip a while ago but should grade straight. I think these issues would hold it to AU53. the reverse might push it to 55 so it could go either way.

I am at 50 also .Old light cleaning , now retoning , only an average strike . These usually come with a much stronger strike on the ear area and the Eagle breast Feathers . I am sure at 5500 to 6000 someone would like this piece ! Nice looking 89 CC

AU-50. Seems to have been dipped and retoned, but very market acceptable.
