Hi,
I just started getting into coin roll hunting and I have so many questions about what to collect and how to collect. This is not a get rich quick plan for me but rather to build a solid collection to pass down to my son (who will then sell it on
ebay for a faction of it's value in 20 years)
I used to collect coins with my Dad with I was younger but we were never serious about it. Toss a few interesting coins in a jar every once in a while is about what it was. They are hopefully safe in my step-moms attic. But it's been a while since I have seen them.
I have a lot a questions about coins but I don't want to be annoying and ask questions that the community has previously answered so please bear with me. I am actively reading older posts to gain knowledge.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I like to look for errors, varieties and doubled dies, but to be honest I have a hard time spotting them. But my favorites are old Wheat/Lincoln Cents that are Red.
My best coin found so far is a really nice 1965 Red
Lincoln Cent in like MS64 condition (my estimate). It is really nice and red, it's my favorite find so far. Slapped in a 2x2 right away! I do have one W quarter as well.
Just wanted to say Hi to community and thanks in advance for putting up with my questions!
