Hi,

I just started getting into coin roll hunting and I have so many questions about what to collect and how to collect. This is not a get rich quick plan for me but rather to build a solid collection to pass down to my son (who will then sell it on ebay for a faction of it's value in 20 years)

I used to collect coins with my Dad with I was younger but we were never serious about it. Toss a few interesting coins in a jar every once in a while is about what it was. They are hopefully safe in my step-moms attic. But it's been a while since I have seen them.

I have a lot a questions about coins but I don't want to be annoying and ask questions that the community has previously answered so please bear with me. I am actively reading older posts to gain knowledge.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I like to look for errors, varieties and doubled dies, but to be honest I have a hard time spotting them. But my favorites are old Wheat/Lincoln Cents that are Red.

My best coin found so far is a really nice 1965 Red Lincoln Cent in like MS64 condition (my estimate). It is really nice and red, it's my favorite find so far. Slapped in a 2x2 right away! I do have one W quarter as well.

Just wanted to say Hi to community and thanks in advance for putting up with my questions!

You can search the forum to see if the questions have been asked before and answered. Also, look at the forum structure to ask your questions in the correct area. That will help to get answers from experts in that area.

to CCF. Ask questions in the correct sections of the forum along with good photos. One full coin pic of the obverse and one full coin pic of the reverse as well as one or two close ups if needed.
