In my opinion this coin is an undergrade, take a look and tell me what you think it should grade.

VF 27.5!!

I think it's a hair better than a VF25, they might have given this one a bump to VF30 though. I'll say VF25

It's at least EF-40. Probably higher but can't tell based on pics.

It's somewhere in the AU range. No higher than 55 and I think no lower than 50. I'll split the difference and say AU-53. I'm interested in what TPG's thought. Much of what looks like wear is just a very flat strike.

Full head detail so looks EF-45 straight grade to me. I don't see anything that would "details" it.

Coins rotation bugs me,sending it to PCGS for reholdering will ask for re-grade if it will current grade or higher. I'm seeing XF45 also.
Obverse on 20 Cent is main factor from what I gather, reverse will play in if markedly less affected wear shows. Betting the reverse of this coin is enough to step it up one.
VF opinions on coin? even with the ameture pics. areas of wear show textbook with grading guides. This ones surely no CAC but to me solid at 40 and worth the $35 to get it centered.
Apparently am in a coin combative mood again remembering the rule "if its mine go up 2 grades" .
Maybe these in natural light will help. Thanks all.

I think the grader was conservative at 40.

I'm sticking with my VF. I will admit, I'm usually conservative, and definitely was on this one. Looking at it again now, I'd say a solid VF30-35. In hand I wouldn't doubt this one a 40, but I just don't see it based on the pics. Even with a bit of a weak strike on the claws, LIBERTY, etc. , I just don't see a XF coin
