1890-O VAM 10 Comet Misattributed

I've uploaded a close-up of the reverse and you can see the die gouge by the O now that I did it with better lighting.
If I compare the 10 vs the 10A, the "comet" in mine looks much closer to the 10A than it does to the 10, don't you agree? It's definitely a later die state. According to VAM World, the die gouge on the reverse is most likely on both the 10 and the 10A.

I see you're right that PCGS doesn't attribute the 10A but wouldn't that make PCGS more likely to just call it a 10, and get the attribution fee, than not attribute it?

suipakpaikungfu, thanks for your help. Since this is labeled as VAM10 by PCGS, I'll leave it that way & just note that it seems to be a 10A.
