Can you all give me some input...why are lamination's some times sought after? I see some crazy (to me) prices on em...they kind of just look like damaged coins...I've gone through all my rolls of LWC's and have almost 2 tubes w/lams... So this 14D...good thing or bad? I personally think that they are kinda neat, but not so much that I'd want to pay much of a premium. Some lams are elaborate while others are relatively minor. The lam on your coin falls somewhere in the middle (how's that for a wishy-washy answer? ). I'd say if you have a couple rolls of lams and they're of no real interest to you, sell 'em! to the CFF! Report this Post to the Staff

From what I've heard, the grading companies (all?) treat lams negatively with a details designation. Most collectors want problem free coins. It will probably detract from the overall appeal and value. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
