This quarter looks like somebody sandwiched it in between two older quarters and struck it.

The obverse has the obverse of an older quarter inverted and struck into it. And the reverse has the reverse of an old quarter inverted and struck into it.

Please tell me if I have something or if somebody or something did this and is getting my hopes up.

I agree it is a vise job, but there is one thing that interests me. Pretty much all of the impressed details are around the periphery. There is very little in the central details. You would expect something to be impressed into the bust of Washington and I'm not seeing it.
