Notice they are all the same size, they're 3" replicas.

Nothing shady about 3" replica coins.

The seller is new and should have listed them in the Novelty category, and should have mentioned the size in inches in the description.
Rest in Peace

I'm puzzled why he doesn't accept returns . Wondering if that one bidder was legit or a shill bidder that didn't pan out .

I believe these are the "coaster" set coins. We used to sell them as sets or individually in the coin shop back in the 70s and 80s. I used to have ad all of the ones shown and a few more including an IHC and a St. Gaudens - years ago.

I have a couple of sets of these "Coasters" that I got as gifts at Christmas. My set even has a Saint Gaudens $20 gold piece. They aren't even good as a coaster! They catch all of the condensation and then stick to the bottom of your glass when you take a drink. Nothing like a 4" metal disk full of ice cold water dropping in your lap or on your toes.

I once saw some coasters in France that were based on the holed 25-centime coins of 1914-40: the coasters had a hole in the middle, like the coins, and fitted neatly around a central spindle. They were a bit pricey but I wish now that I'd bought them!

I was at my inlaws on the 4th, and this was on the table. I was going to post it as a "Ultra Rare Prototype Flying Eagle cent" as a gag...

They left negative feedback apparently after realizing these were novelty items, so "legit" (but not that sharp).
