I have no idea what's happening on the reverse of this coin. Any ideas?

Hey, appreciate that Yokozuna and ijn1944. I'd just got done telling myself, in thought, how much of a fool I was for not looking on the reverse of several coins before this one. This coin is the one I back on track by checking both sides. I'll NEVER neglect the reverse again, count on it.

Dang near missed it by only focusing on the obverse. It's impressive to hold and look at, thanks ALL.

Thanks Coop. I never knew there was such a thing. You never cease to amaze on your knowledge of coins and the minting process. Do, or did, you work at the mint?

No. I've never worked at the mint. But always wanted to go see one. But I just don't get around much anymore. Studying the parts used to create dies, strike coins, cutting blanks, setting up the blanks to make them into planchets and striking errors, you get to know what could/does/doesn't happen to coins. I just passed 11K images on my image host. I ave a lot of images from the site, create a lot of images from educational purposes. And still I'm still learning new stuff that comes up most of the time. My goal? To help everyone see what I see on their coins. I prefer to not give yes or no answers, but to help others to see what I see. We have a good family here and all share what they have learned.
