@lls, first welcome to CCF. Second, often times plating blisters can be depressed with the tip of a wooden toothpick. I agree that they don't look like die chips.

Actually there are split plating issue with something like a pin that punctured the plating. These will not press down as the zinc will swell when t get oxygen: When you look closely to these, you will see the gray showing through the the bubble in the center of the bubble.
