Jsertl Valued Member United States 319 Posts	Posted 07/18/2020 3:07 pm I tossed that idea around also but zoom in on the photo and look in the midsection of the nine and you can see what it looks like separation line and then at the very end of the nine at the bottom you can see a little section of it again that's quite a coincidence if it's a hit Report this Post to the Staff

In order for it to be a doubled die, it would have to be enlarged, not reduced. ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19221 Posts	Posted 07/18/2020 3:23 pm Not seeing anything other than relatively soft copper showing the effects of being in circulation for many, many years, and having the hits and dings--both large and small--to show for it.
