That big divot on the reverse is PMD I think. I think you might have Greaser reverse. Let the pros chime in.

@fl, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with @de that the central gouge on the reverse is damage. The inscription FIVE CENTS may have been lightly struck due to grease in the die, but it is a little hard to know as it could also be at least partly from circulation wear.

If you don't mind, the back center I will call it a key hole. It looks like it was struck 3 x. Would it be worth selling ?

@fl, of course you can call this whatever you want, but you shouldn't misrepresent what has happened to this coin. It looks pretty clear that the "keyhole" is damage. Also, I'm not seeing evidence of a triple strike. Which design element is tripled?

I got this coin in change and I am not sure what is wrong with it, that is why I posted it and asked for help.

It could be grease but it also looks like it is showing heavy Die Deterioration as well.
