Good day to all. I found a quarter with a significant error in my opinion and just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this one before? Thank you for your time and input.

Could you elaborate on what it is that you see as a significant error.

@kych, first welcome to CCF. Second, I think you are talking about that interesting spot on George's chin. When I enlarge and enhance this spot from your pic, it gets a little pixelated. Any chance on you posting a close-up of this region of interest? At this point, I can't tell if it is damage or evidence of a die gouge.

Considering what happened here, reminds me of a cent that also showed something similar to this:

Looking at my first image, you can see the devices a bit smaller indicating that the die had been over polished. But the other areas on the obverse (These images are from the same coin and there were several in this batch like this, so I know it is a die issue. But if the dies were miss handled, or a tool or another die falling on them, this could alter the devices. While these and the image above is damage to the mid depth of the die, I feel it was not there before the polishing. So I feel it is die damage. Same as on the OP's coin.

Could this also possibly be a large die chip?

It appears to match in shape and size to Washingtons earlobe. Looks like the curves from the hair line and the bottom curve of the lobe match in shape to me.
