Ok I'm not crazy but I see an extra face on this coin.

Hmm, an extra face? Maybe use MS paint to add what features you are seeing. Right now I don't see any doubling--rather just stray marks from circulation.

That is definitely mind-bending! I see obvious marks on the cheek that look very similar to the eye, but I am not the expert. My guess is that it is coincidental circulation marks.

I think I see what you are looking at. The second face looks funny, but the "eye" of the second "face" is just where the quarter has a mark on it from where it took a hit in circulation. No coin dies were engraved like this though. Its just post mint damage.

So no extra value except the chuckle factor!

Circulation damage that is what is causing what you're seeing.

Ok but I see more the the eye. Like the marks down the neck that could be his braid and the marks close to his mouth that I've circled. I tried to do a layover but I couldn't get the sizing right.

A third party grader would sort this matter out quickly.

@Dbroo1999, I think @ijn1944 was joking. Recommend not spending money on a third-party grader for this since there really isn't a way that a second face could have ended up like that on the coin at the mint. I get that the ding looks kind of like an eye, but I think you will be disappointed if you paid to send this off for verification.
