to CCF. Your coin is the normal 005, the 006 is the one collectors are looking for.

I agree. Normal one for that year. The year variety for this year is the RDV-006

Specifically, ALL 1988 LMC are WAM. Perhaps you are confused with different years, such as the 1998 WAMs?

You guys (and I mean everyone, not just males ) PCGS mislabeled them as WAMs when really all 88s have WAMs. He's referring to the RDV-006 with PCGS terms, even though it's incorrect.

Unfortunately, you stepped into what may easily be one of the most confusing naming issues in modern numismatics.

All 1988's have a gap between the A & M of America on the reverse, making them a Wide AM, but a few 1988's have a different reverse design and for an unknown reason PCGS decided to label the variety with the different reverse design a " WAM".

As Coop pointed out, the key pickup on the 1988 " WAM" is actually the different design on the initial FG, not the gap between A & M.

1959-1992 we all WAM. 1992 had a few Close AM, but very few. 1993 All were Close AM. 1994 All the business strikes were Close AM and the Proofs were WAMs. 1998-2000 had year year varieties of miss match on the proof and the business strike:
