I mean come on while this coin is sought after by collectors, it isn't particularly rare and this example is just awful. Seller is under a mistaken opinion as to what the real value is in the market.
Probably quite honestly thinks the asking price is quite OK.
Pawnshop owners are very used to meeting such folks.

The seller started with $29.99 as an opening bid. The bidders seem to think it's a great coin. I don't see it myself.  ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

The starting bid was reasonable, in my opinion, perhaps 3% of an undamaged coin. As the key date of the series, it has some value, even as a cull. I would agree that now it is way over-priced.
