I found this 10 cent in my change just wondering what caused this to have the extra beads on the obverse side.
Is there a proper name for this type of coin

I've searched for the reason of the double denticles I know there is something going on with the Obverse with the sun type rays coming off the denticles, I've seen this on a lot of Canadian coins.

The extra denticle's right at the rim seems odd and have to wonder how it could have happened I don't see it on any site for explanation of it?
Would it be a form of Machine Doubling?

Die Deterioration, if you look at "ELIZABETH" you will see Die Deterioration Doubling on the right side of the letters, than if you look at "REGINA" you will see the same Die Deterioration Doubling but on the bottom of the letters.

Machine Doubling wont look all over the place like this, Machine Doubling is usually only present where the die comes in contact with the devices.

This goes for the beads as well, if there is a "trail" present that makes the beads look extremely stretched out its usually Die Deterioration, if the beads look flat and only half the size they are suppose to be than most likely Machine Doubling, but what I'm seeing is deterioration.

, anytime you see anomalies like that occurring in a radial fashion, it is most likely Die Deterioration.
