I received my colorized silver dollar and noticed something a little funky. I tried to take pictures through a loupe; sorry if they aren't the best.

It looks like the reeded edges extend upward past the surface near "States of". Is this right? Should I send it back and exchange it for another?

I would. Simply for the fact that if I'm spending close to $100 for a 1oz silver coin I wanna feel satisfied with my purchase.

First in hand pic I've seen of this coin. Like the simplicity of the single colored stripe.

Have you taken the coin out of the capsule to examine it? Sometimes it's tough to tell what's really going on through plastic like that.

I managed to open the capsule enough to get a clearer view and a slightly better picture. It appears to be exactly what I thought it was, an untrimmed rim.
So again, is this worth keeping or would it be better to exchange it?

I agree with wyzeguy. If you spent that much for it, might as well be happy with your purchase. They have plenty in stock.

I sent it back today. Hopefully the replacement will be better.
