1964 Kennedy that appears to be split in half by what I think is a die crack. Is this wear or an error?

RD, is the line raised or incused(sunken)?. Can you feel the line if it is rsised?

Sorry again, tooo tired.If you can not feel it it is probably not a die break or crack, could be a planchet problem, or just something was laid across the coin for a long time and left a mark?

It looks as if the 4 shows some doubling. A closer pic would be cool.

This is not a die crack. Die cracks are always jagged and never run in a perfectly straight line without any regard to the relief on the coin.

Your line is a stain on the coin.
