Someone told me to post pic's of coins to get opinions on grades. So I will be posting 3 or 4 coins just to see. I did notice they weren't as bright as the actual coins, but someone said a shiny coin isn't always a high grade guarantee. trying to get some grading tips. Thanks for your help in advance! *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. *** Edited by Comfort Numb 09/13/2020 12:20 am

Thanks everyone and John1 I asked where to post and someone said here would work. So in the future where should I post?

"US Modern Coin Grading" would be the correct category. I see this as not less than AU-58.

Tough call.
I think if I saw it in hand it would look SMS and would grade it pretty low. MS-65.
But if it appeared to be BU then a good soak in acetone could turn it into a money coin. MS-66+.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

Wear on a coin means the highest it can get is AU. The pics seem to show some wear on hair and cheek area.

Coinfrog I don't see a section titled US Modern Coin Grading. I may be a little blind though so could you tell me what heading it's under. I see a third party grading section, but it's about grading companies. Also is there a way to move my post to the right section? Thanks everyone for your insights.
