If there are no signs of tampering, it must be a Grease Fill error. Nice.

Nice find!
Would like to see a clearer close-up photo of the date area though.

It's not very often we see greasers with no date/mintmark at all. Very nice find! May we please see the reverse?

T-BOP asked... Quote: How in the heck did you determine that ? He may have used the Old Coin Web Image Radio Carbon Dating program also known as the OCWIRCD.App. I think it's on all of the new iPhones. Just point the phone at your monitor, click and know the exact age and origin of any coin. Edit: This IS a really cool example of a Grease Filled Die!
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Joking about the date. My OCWIRCD app isn't working at the moment. They kill you with in app purchases.

Yes, a remarkable Greaser for sure. Never see one like it.

Cool find! 2x2 worthy. Worth a premium, but how much? Whatever someone is willing to pay... a 1943 Greaser sold recently for $20 and it was only missing the 4, similar condition. Might get $5, might get $50.
