I upgraded my Reeded 50 Cent piece. I went from an ANACS AU58 to a toned version. The details look much sharper to me than the ANACS one and I think it is more closely a good representation of an AU58 coin.

Both are very nice examples. Thank you for sharing. Question...did you crack the ANACs coin out of the slab to put in your album? Or leave it in the slab and just "know" you had it?

Every coin is different but there is something about the toned one that I really like. If you are trying to find a new home for the first coin I know my 7070 would give it a nice home and you could come visit when ever you wanted to, lol.

Much better coin. I love the contrast created by the toning. What is with the 'flat' star at 1 o'clock? Is that a varity?

Nice upgrade Nelrak. The toning is beautiful. I just got back from the bank and looking at my 7070 album. My 1824 Capped Bust has beautiful light blue and gold toning, probably from an album or paper enevelope. It is much prettier than the reeded example.

Most definitely like the new one better. Not that the other one is too shabby.

I had dropped the coin when it was in the ANACS holder and the back came off, so I put it in my 7070 for a while but put it back in the ANACS holder when I traded it.
