Being serious though, the US Mint works well for the vast majority of users, what you have to understand is that: 1) a lot of people want this coin 2) there are many flippers 3) while the mint can stop a lot of the bots it can't stop all 4) the flippers are probably on fast/high speed internet / hard wired and planning to get in and get out
Now that you know this you have to do the same thing. 1) be ready at 5 minutes before 2) have everything on hand (like your cc) 3) be signed in 4) gave several tabs opened 5) once you add the coin to the cart I recommend for coins like this that will be around for about 15-20 minutes I would add both. 6) after it's added try to check out 7) on the other tab go to checkout 8) if the checkout fails on first try use the other tabs 9) jump from tab to tab ALWAYS have a checkout ready to run 10) don't give up 11) if it fails keep on doing it
Yes it's frustrating, but if you want the coin just keep on doing it. The multiple tabs help as your always trying to checkout.

I have reset my expectations to go for less than the full set; one Morgan, one Peace and I am happy. I was hopping mad when I didn't get the first three coins back in May, but just turned my interests elsewhere. Next on my list is an uncirculated ASE type 2 in September, I'll get my uncirculated set on subscription like I always do and that will be it for 2021. One thing I will add - what browser you use, how fast your internet connection is - all irrelevant. All of the errors are occurring on the US mint backend server infrastructure after they have already received the information from your browser. That's the weak link. Who gets in and who doesn't is just luck and how many times you try. I only bought one coin as that's all I wanted but if you want to buy up to the max, that's ok. Resell them, that's ok. Trade them, even better. It's all according to the rules. We all play by them the same, that's the breaks.

All the order status are being updated. You can probably check at the mint for your order status and confirm your order got in!

I was a senior data base administrator and system administrator on the website for a Fortune 50 company. Anyone that thinks the US Mint website is acceptable has seriously low expectations.

I have procured a 2011 25TH ASE empty box for cheap! Since the lettering is raised I will have to sand down the wording. Now do I want to sand down the logo and see if I can reapply the logo as laser etched? and then silver filled. Also I hope the felt padding will be a clean removal... as if I am going to paint it black, then I will need to do it correctly.

I will. If everything goes well I may make some more for people on this forum. Got to get it done first. I found some air tights that are ASE size but the internal diameter will fit a commemorative silver dollar. So I will have to source some of those or find some at my local coin store. Would a black box (glossy or matte) be better or the normal blue from 2011?

Well going with this year's theme, I think black would fit better.

Hi, I lowered my expectations after failing to get a privy marked coin. However I was able to get a Morgan-D & today a Peace dollar. I had all the regular problems, Cloudflare & are you a bot ? But kept at it & have received confirmed orders on both. now is the long wait till shipping.
