Quote: It seems everything silver is on backorder, or the purchase dates keep moving to later in the year then put on backorder. No not everything. I had ordered the latest ASE (2021-S proof) and I already got it. I went back and bought the 2.5oz Coast Guard Medal and that one is in the mail. I already have the tracking number for it.

I like seeing dates put back, instead seeing backorders

Everyone's biggest fear may be coming true for me. My wife asked me today to check our credit card account online for any strange charges. She lost her card from our shared account. I told her that I don't see anything strange on there yet. Then I called US Mint customer service and asked what happens if I get a new card - can I update my payment information? The customer service rep told me no, that I can't update it and all that they can do, if I want them to, is cancel the order. No! I told her I definitely do not want to cancel my orders. After making sure I was clear on that point and telling her thanks for her help, I got back to my wife - keep looking for your lost card. We aren't cancelling it! I hope she finds it before somebody else does.

That is why I opened a new credit card and use that/PayPal for purchases exclusively now. Also they were running a program where if you spent $500 within 3 months, you got $250 in bonus points added. So, yeah sure.

@coincollector123, so if you pay with paypal it take the money from your card and save it for US Mint. If you lose your card you don't have anything to worry about? Thanks for your reply.

@Lunch Money - note that some cards will use different numbers for multiple cards on the account. For example, the Discover Card my wife and I use shares the same number, but our Capital One Visa has completely different numbers for each card on the account, so it might be possible to cancel just the one card.
Would be easier to just find your wife's card however.

@lunch Money, even if the numbers are the same the credit card company can keep the card active and only pay what you tell them to. For example anything from US mint pay, anything else reject.
Also they maybe able to issue a new card, same number different 3/4 digit code for your wife only.

Will anyone be sending any of these coins to the graders? I still have 2 PCGS vouchers to use before the end of the year. Not sure if the Morgans or Peace would be worth it. Maybe the CC?

She found it!!! It turns out my wife had just left her credit card at work - at her weekend job. When she went in this past weekend, there it was. My order is still okay. Crisis averted, marriage saved.

I still have my P Morgan showing up as Processing. Don't even know why I bother checking or getting stressed any more. It's all out of my hands.

Going to keep the OGP like I do all modern stuff that is not a proof or uncirculated mint set (which have Dansco bound items in them). Quote: She found it!!! I called customer service at the mint because I had a problem with my credit card on my order for the silver eagle reverse proof 2 coin set (wrong month on the expiration date). After that was resolved, I asked about my CC Morgan order that was made with a card that has since expired. They said not to worry, that 48 hrs before the order ships if there is a problem with the card they will send an e-mail like the one I got yesterday and they will be able to fix everything then.
