Just picked this up from my LCS today for $10.95 which is only a couple dollar above melt value right now. It looks to have an old cleaning but for the amount of detail left I thought the price was justifiable. Looks like a F-15 details perhaps? Thoughts on the purchase? Thanks!

F-15 sounds right with an old cleaning. For $10.50, I'd be a buyer all day! Smart purchase in my book.

Thanks everyone! I thought the price was decent. I normally don't pick up cleaned coins but this didn't have that obvious cleaned look like so many early silvers I see nowadays.

Can hardly get lunch for $11, and you've got a 187 year old piece of American history. I'd buy that all day long!

That's a stellar pickup at that price. I'd buy it as well if I saw it.

You have to love a coin like this. At $11.95, that like 6.4¢ for each of it's 187 years of existence! What a find!

Thanks! I was pleased with the price on this one. I also picked up an 1808/7 half dollar with some minor damage for melt value.

Wow! Great deals at those prices. I'd be browsing at that coin shop rather frequently.
