Playing with the new camera, I finally have some better shots of the color on the Wheat cent I have in my type set. From the Anaconda Rare Coin dispersal sale at Heritage, the pictures were awful and I stole this piece for the princely sum of 9 bucks. 1956 NGC MS66 (the coin is slightly rotated in the holder)

To Quote Jimi Hendrix..."Rainbow, moonbeams, and Lincoln, is all I ever think about.." I think that's how the song goes Beautiful toning! And a Great Price

NEVERSUITED, this is a beautiful song written by JIMI HENDRIX, "LITTLE WING", Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairytales. That's all she ever thinks about, ridin' with the wind.
A song inspired by the montery festival( 1967),

This song was inspired by the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, a concert held during 3 days of the "Summer of Love" (1967) featuring The Who, The Byrds, Janis Joplin, and many others. Attended by about 200,000 music fans, it happened 2 years before Woodstock. Jimi wrote about the atmosphere at the festival as if it was a girl. He described the feeling as "Everybody really flying and in a nice mood." He named it "Little Wing" because he thought it could just fly away.

Very nice coin! NGC must have holdered it pretty long ago. Any coin with toning like that would come back as "artificial color" by their current standards.
