What do you think happened here? On/in his jacket is indented of same shape as what's in front of bust. I made a overlay and the peace is the same design. Only it's flipped. The arrows are pointing where the ends match. So I have a thought but sure would like your opinions.

Well I thought that maybe the chip of Die caused that damage on the jacket. If you put the arrows together the outline are the same.
Could the chip fall on the next planchet in the area of the jacket?
