I'm not sure what I'm looking at to make an educated guess. But it looks like to me that there is a possibility that this could be an RPM. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

from the picture you uploaded I can not see a RPM.

sometimes I take 2 pictures. I move the light from 12 o'clock position to 3 or even 6 o'clock position.

if the picture doesn't capture what you are seeing, then we cant help you.

EDIT: change it to ... the better pictures then the better we can help you

Looks like a worn/damaged punch. V.V lists it as MMS-004 (Trumpet Tail) for that year.
