A doubled die doesn't work on one device here and one device there. The two affected areas you looking are have been flattened. Sure it is wider, but the coin is damage. It is not from a doubled die. 1964-D WDDR-041: This one is a DDR plain: I didn't have an 1964-d or plain DDO examples to post. Sorry. 1962, I have lots for that year.
Well use the good one. LOL focus on the centers of the devices, and forget the outside edges of devices. The outside edges is where you find Machine Doubling. The hub doubling is seen on the centers, where the spread of die doubling is seen. There is always way more examples on Machine Doubling, than there are of doubled dies.
