Wondering if this is a die crack or normal?

Thank you

Yeah, it's die crack. I found a Connecticut quarter last spring that was a nice DDR example, but accidentally spent it on milk a few days later. It was really clean letter doubling in "Charter Oak". I was so mad I did that, because I'm starting collecting from scratch, and only a year into error collecting. Starting to get a decent collection going finally, and be nice to see that Connecticut DDR in there. .

to the CCF!

It is a die crack, but it doesn't really add any value to the coin. Die cracks are common on these unless they happen to be very large, bisecting or show that a section of the die has movement (retained Cud.) Keep searching!

Yes for sure looks like a die crack through that last number 9. I'm less sure on your other close-ups.

On the last image, I'm seeing Machine Doubling. The States quarters are from the single squeeze dies. So on the obverse, the area area for doubling is on the earlobe and the motto. On the reverse the target area is the center of the reverse designs. So if Machine Doubling is seen on one area, the issue is probably Machine Doubling on others as well.
