In an envelope with another coin on top of it. I have one almost identical in patterning that came from a local collector. I know with 100% certainty that it's naturally toned.

By the way, if anyone is interested, because the coin is on my watchlist, I got an email that they'll discount the price by $500. Still way out of my price range but if you collect toned ASE's...
