How much do you think each coin is worth in the current market?

For 1996 and 1999 dates, they are relatively common. Almost half of the value of that coin is the mere fact it is sitting in a PCGS holder (it costs about CAN$80 to grade errors with PCGS, if you include shipping, etc.). The more valuable errors are those where the core almost touches the rim, and there is a large gap in the middle of the coin.

With that degree of offset, in that grade, in that holder, it is generally a $175 error or so...

Generally agreed with above - 1996 in particular is readily available. This being said, they sell. I got $65 for a raw '96 in comparable condition about a year ago, but being graded, I'd expect yours to be in the $125-50 range (not to unnecessarily nitpick SPP-Ottawa, as in the same ballpark, but the '96 is quite common as far as these errors go). The '99 is a bit scarcer, but again, not a huge hurdle, and there I'd 100% agree with the above valuation.

They don't sell.
There is no demand at the above prices.
Graded examples go unsold on ebay for many, many months years even.
Raw ones do sell occasionally for $50-$75.
I bought a couple of raw ones about a year and a half ago and looked before I leaped. A couple of graded ones that were listed then are for sale again or still.

@DBM - I don't know about ebay (as I have not yet had to list one there), but I have no problem shifting them OTC. I think it might be a matter of them being more appealing in hand?

"demand" and "value" are a tricky thing

right now demand (ie it WILL sell) is there, value (speculation) is a coin toss (no pun intended)

If I were in a selling mood (I'm not) I would take whatever I could get for it, with the full expectation that cash-in-hand might be worthless (or at least severely depleted in value) in a few months.

can't eat a toonie... so I would happily trade you for a cookie
