The board would need to know what 1858 coin you are talking about to properly answer your question I think every denomination has varieties in 1858

Pics please? More than one denomination of 1858 Canadian coins is known to have coinage vs. medal varieties.

I suggest finding a recent copy of Charlton Standard Calatogue of Canadian Coins. Any issue from 2015 to date will have photos of various 1858 varieties of each denomination: 1c, 5c, 10c, + 20c.

I would say $500 to $1000 if F12.

swabiwal .... I think that we, as readers, still don't understand what type of variety that you are talking about. Is it a "coinage" alignment instead of "medal" alignment. Or is it a full or 15 stem Reverse? Or does it have kind of die crack or doubling? Please post a photo or explain what you are asking.

It is coinage alignment with inverted die.I didnt post the picture because it is like any other 1858 large cent except that the obverse and reverse of the coin dies are inverted unlike other 1858 large cents.I dont know how many are known to exist.I had a population report 2014 it says I think 2 have been certified in vf grade.

My year-old Trends says $2000 Cdn for F-12, so I'll agree with Zonad that you could sell it for $500-1000.
