Hello there.
I'm going into ancient asian coins, already have some Japanese.
I've found a seller, he has 1000+ various genuine world coins in stock, and these ones are in there.
I have gut feeling about these. Ah yes, and prices are extremely low, 6$ average for each.

I often say that counterfeiting ancient coins is often dependent on the work required and the profit someone can get except for Chinese coins as they seem to have fakes for all levels and I have no idea how they make money doing that. Anyway, right away that patina is exactly shared for color variations of green to orange from coin to coin and the letters pop so nicely and uniformly from coin to coin in exactly the same way. So you are correct they are not going to be real but they are quite attractive for artistic purposes.

Even the commonest spade coins of Wang Mang rarely go for less than $30-40.

As already stated, the patina looks artificial on all of them, and I also am not a fan of how smooth and rounded the devices look.

I do not like them, Sam-I-Am.

......I had started to look into this area of collecting over the last 6 months but have done a complete reverse turn! Not for me! too many fakes!....Especially on the spade coins.

I don't want to make another useless thread. What do you think about these? Looks good to my eye, but it's price makes me doubt (4$ shipped both).
Kangxi Tongbao and Qianlong Tongbao, but seller knows nothing.

The prices for the 5 spades in Hartill total $2,250. $6 each is quite a steal!

Sarcasm aside, the brown coins in the last group are likely genuine and $2 each is about right.
