This popped up on ebay recently and it's a bad counterfeit. LIBERTY is way off as well as many other aspects. What's sad is that it's already up to $880+ and has almost 4 more days of bidding left. It's unfortunate that so many people get ripped off by coins like this.

Well it has my die dot location on the reverse that few know about:

But the dot location looks different.
Here is a SBS with a fake and the real thing. Note the letters on fake Liberty compared with the normal Liberty?

Die scratch from 'O' on "OF" is present:

But the coin look burned in color. It to me, it is a little too sketchy to take a chance on.

Hi Coop!

I agree the Liberty was the first thing that stood out.

What a comical fake. Hope someone can take this down from ebay soon, wouldn't want to see someone get ripped off.

Seller states in "Item Specifics" that the coin is certified by PCGS. The certification number and Heritage picture is obviously not the same coin as pictured in the ebay auction.

That gives ebay reason enough to pull the listing.

Now will they pull it? We shall see! Still 3-days to go!

I didn't even have to look at the coin. I could tell it was fake by looking at all the other crap he's selling!
