Got 5 common wheats, a 1985 Canadian and what seems to be an unplated Zincoln! I'm not sure if it's a legit error or if it's an altered penny though. Gonna post it in the error forum sometime soon.

First one of these found in a roll for quite some time. Late Christmas present!

Wow that is an awesome find I think that's the best find I've seen posted on here all year. I know every time you post something its always worth stopping what I'm doing to look I'm so jealous.

I already have one, so it will go in my ebay pile. The ear is not doubled; the photo just makes it look that way. In this condition, these usually go for about $20-$25. Slabbed MS65's go for about $50. That is what is great about this Doubled Die; major doubling for a small price.

So is there any "good way" to actually search your coins? I was going through a pile of pennies with the microscope and was thinking that it would be easier to just put all of the same year together and then scope all them all for known errors for that year plus whatever else pops out at you. are people usually this systematic?

just gotta find what works for you I find putting them in order by date that way when you look at a few and then you will notice the differences more easier looking through a loop is faster then to get a super close up us the scope

A DDO 1995? Being born in 1995, I have to say that is a darn good find.

Nice one CND. I got 4 of them a couple years ago; close together and 3 from the same bank. They use to sell for $50 to $60 in MS condition, but haven't seen any ads recently.

I do to Raymo. Don't think I have W.V. yet.

Started the New Year off right with a 2000 WAM and another 1999 WAM. The second one I've found in the batch of cents brought back from Alabama over Thanksgiving, which was over 40,000. I should have completed these, but I have a habit of bringing more home whenever I'm out. Still have 230 rolls plus half of the bag I'm working now. Got my hopes up for a third.

They are counter strikes , usually different states, but also certain dates. They can be almost anything. I have the cent with the image of Martin Luther King facing Lincoln.
