I recently picked up this 1798/7 large cent at auction as an unattributed 1798. I believe it's an S-152. I would appreciate your thoughts on grade. Thanks!

VG8 details (Corroded) some rim damage but still a nice coin and interested variety

It is a 1798 over 7 because the top-left part of the "8" in the date has the top-left vertical bar of the "7" present?

i assume thats a question and yes if you look at the top loop of the 8 you can see the top bar of the 7 peaking out
